When you arrive to our site, you will notice that we are now operating from the building on your left hand side as you drive into the yard.
What do I need to do?
If you are bringing general scrap into the yard then we suggest you keep right towards the house before carefully reversing onto the weighbridge - this way will be the easiest way to view the traffic lights (they will be in front of you on your right hand side).
When we have recorded your weight the green light will illuminate and you can drive off the weighbridge and make your way carefully into the yard (we suggest pulling up towards the house again and carefully reversing into the yard) to unload your material before making your way back onto the weighbridge to weigh your vehicle out.
If you have any non-ferrous metals (copper, brass, lead, batteries, aluminium, stainless steel etc etc) you will need to park by the large door of the main building to weigh the material on the small scale. Do this after you have weighed out on the weighbridge. If your non-ferrous needs to be unloaded first, then make your way towards the shed first, then onto the weighbridge.
Once all your material has been weighed, please make your way to the reception office with your ID (photo driving licence; Passport and Utility bill or Gun Licence) and bank sort code and account number so that we can finalise your transaction.
If you are not sure, please ask and one of our personnel can point you in the right direction.
